Sounds like the trip of a lifetime! I'm glad you had a great time.
I LOVED Washington D.C. And my two favorite buildings were a) Library of Congress and b) National Cathedral. I want so much to go back--I didn't have a lot of time there, and there is so much to see, do and absorb. So glad you had fun and got back safely.
I'd love to go there sometime. Glad you enjoyed it so much!
