For a while now, I have made it a ritual to sit on the corduroy couch every Sunday afternoon and write out some goals for the week.
This does not necessarily mean that fate {a.k.a. my self-discipline} will allow me to succeed, but it is merely a channel in which I can write down what I want and how to achieve it.
This routine helps me to make commitments and thereafter better myself.
Lately it has been a wee bit difficult to do this. Why exactly.. I dunno. Maybe because I have bad Sunday napping habits? Or maybe because sometimes I feel a little inadequate to fulfill these goals and dreams. But you know, everyone does. Becoming a better "me" is a hard thing to do. But we can do it with a little bit of divine intervention.
Involving Heavenly Father- in my planning and goal setting, in my struggles and happiness, in my day-to-day, regular ol' life- helps me to recognize and feel His love for me.
I love Him.
and He loves me.
and He loves you, too.
and so. do. I.
Happy day thirteen.
