Ah, what a wonderful week to turn 17. 'Twas perfect. It has been full of happy moments, happy friendships, and {mostly} happy days! I presume that the next few weeks will be surprisingly difficult, due to the fact that I have been utilizing the term "birthday week" for every ounce of rationalization I could squeeze out of the little devil. An epic fail is looming over my head, particularly in the "New Years Resolutions" category; I have completely dismissed my goals to be healthy and get back into tip-top running shape {freshman style} simply because I could get away with it. I love birthday week. :)
This, sadly enough, is the only picture taken on my birthday. Actually, this one makes me feel quite happy. I was lucky enough to be a lucky recipient of The Guild of Roses, an adorable group spawned by a desire {a very attractive one, if I do say so myself} to bring back chivalry in its fullest. Oh yeah, and to satisfy your inquisitive mind that I know is just dying for an answer, that is, indeed, one nail painted a pretty red on my left hand. I just had to test- but seemed to not notice it was still there the next morning!

This is Kristina, as you all probably very well know. She is my best friend, and I love her a lot a lot a lot. That is three a lots, and that means pretty much infinity. Well, her birthday is on Tuesday, and mine was last Monday. The 10th and 18th are so close together! We figured it must be destined to have a birthday party on the 15th, thus our celebrations last night.
It was actually lovely. My sweet mama worked her little heart out in the backyard and made a perfect little birthday sanctuary for us. It was a sweet little {slash kind of big-ish} shindig with mallow-roasting, delicious eating, and lots and lots of hugging. It was kind of blissful. These are my favorites from the entire night... capturing some of my favorite little funny/happy moments.

Oh. You might not know this! These are my two best friends in the whole wide world. ^ They are super duper fabulous!
Also, on Friday night Kristina and I decided to gift ourselves to some of our favorite things.

umm, yeah. I love her. Happy birth to us.
